| Report – New Year Eve 2009 Celebration |
| Petak, 16 Januar 2009 | |||||||
Page 1 of 5 Under slogan “The Magic continues”, the New Years 2009 Celebration program in Palić, organized by “Elitte-Palić” from December 31st to January 3rd, has justified the expectations of numerous guests, who decided to spend the holiday on the shores of “Bačka sea”. It has been proven once again that the bond of exquisite service ennobled with tradition is a winning combination on demanding tourist market.
Accommodation was provided in the hotels “Park”**** and “Jezero”****, and New Years Eve was organized in the classic restaurant “Mala gostiona”**** with rich festive dinner and international menu with select cocktails prepared by cocktail master Dragan Ljiljak. “Alegro bend” and Ivana Selakov were in charge of good atmosphere (dance music, evergreen and waltzes at midnight). Children’s entertainment with professional entertainer was provided for New Year’s Eve, as well as for Repeat Celebration. For the first day of the New year a picnic was organized on “Róka’s farm” on the shore of the nearby Ludaš lake, on an authentic farm from the middle of the 19th century with traditional cuisine including flatbread with goose fat, sour stew, cock stew, home-made kneecaps and poppy seed pie. Of course, this gastronomic and ambient experience was completed with tambura music. New year repeat celebration was even more relaxing with “Alegro bend” and Ivana Selakov because the guests were already acquainted. On January 2nd a visit to the stables “Kelebija” was organized, which is known for the biggest number of Lipizzaners in the country. The guests had an opportunity to take a ride in a horse-drawn cab, and the skilled guests were able to ride a horse. After these activities “Bačka table” was organized for them, with plain cuisine including aspic, headcheese, black pudding, sausages, ham, cracklings, doughnuts with jam, poppy seed and apple strudels, boiled wine and brandy, and of course, all this was accompanied by unavoidable tambura music. “Elitte-Palić” organized transport for both of these picnics. Use of sauna and hydro-massage bathtub was complimentary for the guest during their stay, as well as parking lot surveillance.
